- ca acolo a murit cineva in “gang-related wars”

- marcheaza teritoriul unei gasti

Missed me? Now you got to kiss me:P

Okay, now that we are back in the game. (Sorry guys for my lack of presence (ahem… web presence) but my only excuse is that I was researching. What was I researching on?, you might wonder. Why twitter, random SEO businesses and mainly how to get your message across through social media. I know you love that too so I am just going to go right on :P (Will talk about Twitter soon if you’ll like this one, if not I am probably just going to crawl back into my SEO cave.)

Why is she writing in English? Because this is yet another social experiment she is  working on and also because she has been spending these last weeks reading stuff about this  monsters that it just comes handy this way.

Ok, so you’re a freelancer, you own a small business or you work in PR and want to twitter your way to fame? Or you rather dislike the whole social media marketing thing but you still think you could use a little buzz? Or you’re just curious about what I’m gonna say ’cause you know me? No matter what your reason is, see me now cutting the bullshit and going straight to the point(s) (sic!).

1. People say that the best way to get your blog/site in the short/span attention of a search engine is to create good content. Also, even the bad and outrageously expensive public relations agencies (did you know that there are Twitter specialised agencies out there? And that they’re charging a lot of money for that?) will tell you that you have to use your keywords. If you’re talking about SEO and about copywriting, then do.  Put them in your titles, in your subtitles, in bold and in your url. Start seeing like a crawler for a chance.

2. Never forget you are copywriting for humans first, for robots (also known as search engines :P ) second. (For now this is just how it is:)

3. Read your blogs. Find some good blogs about it and read it. Then read some more. I like http://www.copyblogger.com/ and http://koifishcommunications.com/blog/.

4. Think. There is nothing uglier that stupid, mindless PR. Best test in the world: would you try that on your friends? Also read Cosmin’s post about bad PR (Romanian only, sorry :D )

5. Decide. If you want to make history with that web hosting business, don’t talk about olives in your blog. That’s just not coherent.

Ta-da! Will not wait for your 2 cents to see if we can go even deeper into the issue or just drop it :D
